Water, applied precisely, is the difference between a harvest and a good harvest.
The Project at Baturaja
The current TAP & BAUER project covers 1,040 hectares of pivot irrigation at Baturaja, South Sumatra — one of the largest mechanised irrigation developments of its kind in the region, and a working demonstration of what Indonesian agriculture can achieve at scale.
As the Official Dealer and Authorized Partner of BAUER in Indonesia, PT Teguh Anglakoni Pakaryan delivers mechanised irrigation systems engineered in Austria and adapted to Indonesian field conditions — from pivot and linear machines to the pumps, pipework and control systems that run them.
BAUER has built irrigation and water-management technology since 1930, and its machines operate on farms across more than a hundred countries. That engineering heritage is what we bring to the Indonesian market.
Scope of Work
The project covers the full path from field study to running system: survey and hydraulic design, machine specification, supply and installation, commissioning, operator training, and ongoing service and spare parts support.
It sits within a wider programme: modernising agricultural infrastructure in support of Indonesia's national priorities for food security, water resource management and sustainable rural growth.
02
Supporting Indonesia's National Strategic Projects
This is not equipment supply. It is a bridge — carrying world-class technology into Indonesian fields, and Indonesian agriculture forward.
National Strategic Projects (PSN)
PT Teguh Anglakoni Pakaryan actively supports and participates in National Strategic Projects (PSN) of the Republic of Indonesia, providing engineering expertise, advanced technologies and project implementation that contribute to national food security, infrastructure development and long-term economic growth.
The Baturaja development sits squarely within that agenda: irrigation at national scale, built to international standards, in a sector the country has identified as decisive for its future.
A Holistic, Integrated Ecosystem
As Official Dealer and Authorized Partner of BAUER, BERTSCH-LASKA and FRAUGROUP in Indonesia, PT Teguh Anglakoni Pakaryan brings together three complementary engineering capabilities — irrigation and water resource management, industrial food infrastructure, and food processing technology.
Together they form a holistic and integrated agricultural ecosystem: water to the field, harvest to the plant, product to the market — each stage supported by world-class technology and the local expertise to operate it.
Transfer of Technology
Every machine installed is a transfer of technology — the equipment, the engineering practice behind it, and the training for Indonesian hands to run it.

Pivot, linear and mobile irrigation systems
Centerstar
A machine that rotates around a fixed centre point, covering large circular fields with a uniform, controlled application of water. Built for continuous duty and configurable span by span to match the plot.
Linestar
For rectangular fields, the machine travels in a straight line across the plot, irrigating edge to edge. Where a pivot leaves corners dry, a linear covers effectively the whole area.
Centerliner
A combined machine that works as a pivot and as a linear, so a single investment can serve fields of different shapes — useful where plots are irregular or farmed in rotation.
Spans & Sprinkler Package
Galvanised spans, drive units and the sprinkler package are specified for each site — droplet size, pressure and spacing chosen for the crop, the soil and the water available.
04
Why mechanised irrigation matters
Water is applied where and when the crop needs it, instead of flooding and hoping — the single biggest lever on both yield and water consumption.
Irrigation that does not depend on rainfall allows planning: more reliable cycles, and in many cases more harvests from the same land.
One operator can manage an area that would otherwise need a crew moving pipes and opening channels by hand.
Galvanised structures, serviceable drive units and local spare parts support — a system that is still working years after commissioning.
